Funding
Azrieli International Visiting PhD Fellows will receive a stipend of 12,000 ILS per month for a period of three to four months. This funding is intended to support accommodation, international airfare, living costs, fees, and health insurance.

Collaboration
The Azrieli International Visiting PhD Fellowship program collaborates with leading Israeli institutions to host international PhD candidates for short-term research visits.
The Azrieli Visiting PhD Fellowship is awarded through a competitive selection process emphasizing academic excellence, research potential, and leadership.
Applicants must secure a faculty member at an eligible Israeli institution as an academic host. The host will support, collaborate, and ensure research feasibility during the fellowship period.
Academic Review by Committee:
Applications are reviewed by a multidisciplinary committee composed of internationally renowned scientists and scholars of life sciences, exact sciences, humanities and social sciences.
Final Interview:
Finalists will participate in a video interview with a panel of representatives from the Azrieli Fellows Program.
The Azrieli Visiting PhD Fellowship is open to PhD candidates from all countries and academic disciplines who are enrolled at accredited institutions of higher learning outside of Israel.
- Applicants must have completed at least one year of their PhD studies at the time of application.
- Applicants must not have prior academic experience in Israel, such as undergraduate or graduate studies or ongoing research.
- Candidates must secure a faculty host from one of the following eligible Israeli institutions: Bar-Ilan University, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Reichman University, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Tel Aviv University, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, University of Haifa, or Weizmann Institute of Science.
