At the Azrieli Foundation, we believe education is the greatest accelerator of success, and that everyone should be given an opportunity to advance their studies – and their ability to positively impact our world.

We invest in, and empower, people through education, in diverse ways and at many stages of their lives: from enabling the world’s leading academics to take on innovative research, to assisting at-risk youth with their educational pursuits.

Paving the way to graduation — and a brighter future

With the Azrieli Foundation as its National Innovation Partner, Pathways to Education is helping students from low-income communities persevere in school.

Jewish Education and Israel Studies

We proudly support initiatives that foster and promote Jewish education, heritage and culture. We also provide opportunities for postsecondary students and advanced researchers from all backgrounds to study Israel through multiple lenses, including the economy, culture, business, language and politics.

Our Mission

Our mission is to connect and nurture potential, wherever it exists, with the resources and the wisdom necessary to open the doors to a better world — one individual at a time.

How we work

At the Azrieli Foundation we are passionate about a rigorous but creative approach to philanthropy, strategic collaborations, leadership and bold thinking. We believe these are the keys to knowledge that will create positive outcomes for future generations. We aim to achieve measurable impact in our priority funding areas and to improve the lives of others.

Our work in Holocaust Education

We are committed to honouring the memories of those who perished, telling the stories of those who survived and fostering learning about the complex history of the Holocaust.

Our work in vocational training

We support initiatives that teach career-specific and job-readiness skills to help people of all ages find meaningful employment.
