Between 1996 and 2021, Israeli computer scientists published 54,350 papers, according to data from the Scimago ranking website. On average, each of these papers was cited 20.57 times. That puts Israel in fourth place in the world in citations per document among the 50 countries that published the most computer science papers in this span.
