Where Humanities Meet Social Sciences

February 14, 2024

A gathering of Azrieli Fellows and Alumni in Humanities Fields blended academic discussions with social engagement. The evening unfolded in three segments, starting with a welcoming reception and an innovative networking bingo game, offering a unique twist to conventional academic networking.

This was followed by an enlightening keynote from Prof. Yoram Bilu, one of Israel’s most renowned anthropologists, on “Unveiling the Absent Rabbi in Messianic Chabad.” His presentation delved into the crossroads of social sciences and humanities, providing valuable insights into interdisciplinary research.

The event wrapped up with a dinner, fostering an ideal environment for continued dialogue and strengthening connections. This combination of intellectual and social interaction showcased the diverse interests and community spirit among our fellows and alumni.
