Sharon’s latest release is a lullabies album entitled Go To Sleep My Babies on Ruby Sparrow Records. Sharon released a tribute album, Three Concerts with Boris Brott. Other recordings include Secret Places: A Tribute to Michel Legrand (2022), Frankly Sharon (2020), Fiddler on the Roof (2019), The Gift of Joy (2019), Sharon Azrieli Sings Broadway (2019), and Rare French Arias of the 19th Century (2019). Upcoming recording projects include an album with pianist Matt Herskowitz, Broadway songs by Canadian composers, and her second collaboration with Frank Wildhorn.
Over the course of her career as an internationally renowned soprano, Sharon has performed the role of Aida in Aida, Gioconda in La Gioconda, Mimi and Musetta in La Bohème, Suzanna and Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro, Adriana in Adriana Lecouvreur, Leonora in Il Trovatore and La Forza del Destino, Juliette in Roméo et Juliette, Liu in Turandot, and Laurette in Le Docteur Miracle.
Sharon sang the title song of the Canadian film Stand! and her vocals were also featured in Stage Mother and Shepherd: The Story of a Jewish Dog. Recent films that feature her acting are SHTTL and Irena’s Vow.
Sharon Azrieli conceived of the Azrieli Music Prizes for the Azrieli Foundation in 2014 and is devoted to arts education and philanthropy. She sits on the boards of several philanthropic organizations, including the Azrieli Foundation.
