Azrieli Fellows Workshops 2024-2025

Back to all workshops
  • What do I do with my PhD? For PhD Candidates in the Humanities and Social Sciences

Synopsis

Writing a doctoral thesis is a long and winding process that presents many challenges. However, often towards and after its completion, there is difficulty and even embarrassment in trying to understand the next step, whether within academia or elsewhere. This workshop aims to present and discuss the various options available to those who are about to complete their third degree, particularly outside of academia, while getting to know the range of fields and experiencing the integration of research practice with other domains.

Outcome:

  • Familiarization with research and content realms inside and outside academia
  • Developing directions for making the PhD accessible
  • Experience in presenting research tailored to different platforms
