  • Becoming the Mentor I Envision

Synopsis

Among all the concerns of becoming a faculty member, figuring out how to become the mentor I envisioned – is probably the most challenging.

This workshop is designed for mentors in all disciplines –humanities, social sciences, and STEM.

Outcomes

  • Familiarize yourself with different leadership styles
  • Master giving regular feedback to your mentees
  • Improve your listening capabilities

  • Learn from your peers’ experiences, as well as discuss your own dilemmas
