The Azrieli Fellows Program proudly announces the latest accomplishments of its Fellows. We celebrate the new faculty appointments, faculty promotions, prestigious postdoctoral positions, and leadership positions secured by Fellows across the program’s three tracks—Graduate Studies, International Postdoctoral, and Early Career Faculty.

New Faculty Appointments
Carlos Bravo-Laguna (2022-2023 International Postdoctoral Fellow) received a position as an assistant professor in the Institute of Security and Global Affairs at Leiden University.
Flavio Geisshuesler (2021-2022 International Postdoctoral Fellow) received a position as a senior lecturer in Tibetan Buddhism at the University of Sydney.
Sigal Hava-Rotem (2019-2020 Graduate Studies Fellow) received a position as an assistant professor in mathematics education at the Freudenthal Institute at Utrecht University.
Daniel Kirschenbaum (2021-2022 International Postdoctoral Fellow) received a position as a principal investigator at the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, Germany.
Faculty Promotions
Eshbal Ratzon (2021-2022 Early Career Faculty Fellow) received tenure at Tel Aviv University and is now an associate professor in the Department of Jewish Philosophy and the Department of History and Philosophy of Science and Ideas.
Postdoctoral Positions
Rona Aviram (2016-2017 Graduate Studies Fellow) received a postdoctoral position in the Department of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Alon Jasper (2021-2022 Graduate Studies Fellow) received a postdoctoral global fellowship in the Institute for International Law and Justice at New York University’s School of Law.
Aviv Steren (2018-2019 Graduate Studies Fellow) received a HOT postdoctoral scholarship for energy and climate in the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California, Davis.
Andrei Ushkov (2021-2022 International Postdoctoral Fellow) received a senior researcher position in the Moscow Centre for Advanced Studies.
Leadership Positions
Maximilian Knott (2022-2023 International Postdoctoral Fellow) received a lead in division position at the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, Germany.
