The Azrieli Fellows Program is pleased to share new faculty appointments, faculty promotions, and postdoctoral positions secured by our Fellows during the 2023-2024 academic year.
Following their completion of the program, Fellows from all three fellowship tracks (Graduate Studies, International Postdoctoral, and Early Career Faculty) are making significant strides in their careers, both within and outside academia. Fellows received prestigious appointments across all disciplines worldwide.

New Faculty Appointments
Miri Danan-Gotthold (2013-2014 Graduate Studies Fellow) received a tenure track position in the Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences at Tel Aviv University.
Michal Dvir (2018-2019 Graduate Studies Fellow) received a tenure track position in the Department of Mathematics Education at the University of Haifa.
Idan Frumkin (2014-2015 Graduate Studies Fellow) received a tenure track position in The George S. Wise Faculty of Life Sciences at Tel Aviv University with an Azrieli Early Career Faculty Fellowship.
Shilat Haim-Nachum (2018-2019 Graduate Studies Fellow) received a tenure track position and was appointed as a senior lecturer in The Bob Shapell School of Social Work at Tel Aviv University with an Azrieli Early Career Faculty Fellowship.
Chethan Kamath (2021-2022 International Postdoctoral Fellow) received a position as an assistant professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay).
Noga Keidar (2020-2021 International Postdoctoral Fellow) received a tenure track position in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Peter Lanchidi (2019-2020 Graduate Studies Fellow) received a tenure track position at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest, Hungary.
Shifra Lansky (2015-2016 Graduate Studies Fellow) received a tenure track position at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Dan Mikulincer (2017-2018 Graduate Studies Fellow) received a tenure track position in the Einstein Institute of Mathematics and The Rachel and Selim Benin School of Computer Science and Engineering at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Evgenia Mitsou (2022-2023 International Postdoctoral Fellow) received a position as an associate researcher in the Institute of Chemical Biology at the National Hellenic Research Foundation in Athens, Greece.
Faculty Promotions
Shay Moran (2020-2021 Early Career Faculty Fellow) received tenure at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and is now an associate professor.
Graham de Ruiter (2017-2018 Early Career Faculty Fellow) received tenure and is now an associate professor in the Schulich Faculty of Chemistry at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
Postdoctoral Positions
Doron Atias (2020-2021 Graduate Studies Fellow) received the Rothschild Fellowship for postdoctoral research at Yale University.
Stefano Baiguera (2022-2023 International Postdoctoral Fellow) received the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN) fellowship for postdoctoral research in theoretical physics at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Brescia, Italy.
Emil Bronstein (2021-2022 Graduate Studies Fellow) received the Rothschild Fellowship for postdoctoral research at ETH Zurich.
Einat Elizarov (2020-2021 Graduate Studies Fellow) was awarded the Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellowship. The project will be carried out at the University of Maryland.
Shir Filo (2019-2020 Graduate Studies Fellow) received the Rothschild Fellowship for postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig, Germany.
Eugenio Garosi (2022-2023 International Postdoctoral Fellow) received a postdoctoral position at Radboud University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands.
Yuval Givon (2017-2018 Graduate Studies Fellow) received the Mandel Scholion Postdoctoral Fellowship (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem).
