The second Graduate Studies Fellows Forum featured six incoming Fellows in excellent presentations about their research. Other than an opening social activity and research presentations, the Forum included a component dedicated to strengthening ties and connections between researchers in the same discipline at-large.
As such, after lunch, Fellows convened in small roundtables according to their research disciplines: Architecture, Education, Exact Sciences, Humanities, Life Sciences and Social Sciences. Each roundtable was planned and headed by Fellows: some decided to bring renowned academics from their field for an intimate discussion, some further divided into smaller groups according to likelihood for future collaboration and others used the time to share research-related difficulties and support each another.
