Synopsis
This interactive workshop equips fellows with the principles and practices of effective time management. Through guided discussions, practical exercises, and demonstrations of digital tools, participants will explore common challenges such as procrastination and the distractions of modern work environments. They will learn evidence-based strategies for planning ahead, structuring their workspace, and prioritizing tasks. By the end of the session, fellows will gain practical skills to boost focus, productivity, and balance in both their professional and personal lives.
Outcome:
- Explain the importance of time management for personal and professional success
- Identify common barriers to effective time use, including procrastination
- Apply at least three practical time management techniques suited to their own work style
- Evaluate and select from a variety of technological solutions to support their workflow

About the Instructor
Dr. Yael Maizels currently heads the Academic Department at HUJI-ASPER Innovate and is excited to provide tools for students at all stages to succeed in their degree and the day after. She is also a founder of a group of over 800 PhDs who are looking to transition from academia to new industries. She consults for a wide variety of start-ups in the field of health and supports numerous medical writing projects.
