Synopsis
This workshop equips fellows with the skills of storytelling and pitching to effectively present themselves, their work, and their ideas. Participants will explore how narrative can be used as a powerful tool for communication, helping them frame their achievements, convey their values, and engage audiences in meaningful ways. They will also be introduced to the concept of a professional pitch, learn how to articulate their value proposition, and practice techniques for presenting confidently and persuasively.
Outcomes
- Explain how storytelling enhances communication and personal branding
- Apply storytelling techniques to present their ideas or career journey compellingly
- Develop and deliver a concise professional pitch tailored to different audiences
- Identify and articulate their unique value proposition for future career opportunities

About the Instructor
Sharon is an expert in strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship with over 20 years of field experience both in the industry & social worlds and has been a lecturer and content developer in these fields for over 15 years.
For 6 years Sharon was the Director of Academia & Knowledge at ASPER-HUJI Innovate, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Previously, Sharon was the executive director of 2 non-profits and managed the financial institutions department at AIG Israel insurance company.
Sharon has an MBA (graduated com-laude) from the Hebrew University and is currently a PhD candidate at the Bar-Ilan University focusing on the evaluation of early stage startup teams.
