Azrieli Fellows Workshops 2025-2026

Synopsis

This workshop helps fellows understand why networking is vital for academics at every career stage. Participants will gain insights into the principles of effective networking. They will also take part in interactive exercises, alone and with their peers, designed to strengthen their ability to build meaningful connections in different contexts, including online, at conferences, and in one-on-one interactions. In order to fully benefit from the online exercises, it is recommended that fellows come prepared with an updated LinkedIn profile. 

Outcomes

  • Identify professional goals that can be advanced through networking 
  • Evaluate which networking channels are best suited for achieving those goals 
  • Develop a personal networking strategy that includes concrete, actionable steps

About the Instructor

Dr. Yael Maizels currently heads the Academic Department at HUJI-ASPER Innovate and is excited to provide tools for students at all stages to succeed in their degree and the day after. She is also a founder of a group of over 800 PhDs who are looking to transition from academia to new industries. She consults for a wide variety of start-ups in the field of health and supports numerous medical writing projects.
