Synopsis
R is one of the most widely used tools for data analysis in research. This two-session workshop provides beginners with a practical foundation so they can work independently with their own data after the course. Over four hours, you will get comfortable in R and RStudio, learn to load and manipulate data, and build publication-ready visualizations using core tidyverse packages (readr, readxl, dplyr, and ggplot2). The focus is on real-life workflows rather than programming theory, so the skills transfer directly to your own research data, regardless of your field.
Outcomes
- Navigate R and RStudio confidently.
- Load data from CSV and Excel files and reshape it for analysis with dplyr.
- Create and export publication-ready plots with ggplot2.
- Leave with course materials and example scripts to adapt to your own data.
