Synopsis
This workshop empowers fellows to drive meaningful impact in their communities, countries, and the world at large. Participants will be introduced to the principles of sustainable development and explore compelling case studies of innovation in action. Through interactive discussions and guided reflection, they will examine the role of communities in driving change and be inspired to envision the kind of impact they want to create both locally and globally.
Outcome:
- Explain key concepts and principles of sustainable development
- Analyze real-world examples of innovation addressing sustainability challenges
- Reflect on the role of communities in creating meaningful impact
- Articulate a personal vision for the type of impact they aspire to make locally and globally

About the Instructor
Sharon is an expert in strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship with over 20 years of field experience both in the industry & social worlds and has been a lecturer and content developer in these fields for over 15 years.
For 6 years Sharon was the Director of Academia & Knowledge at ASPER-HUJI Innovate, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Previously, Sharon was the executive director of 2 non-profits and managed the financial institutions department at AIG Israel insurance company.
Sharon has an MBA (graduated com-laude) from the Hebrew University and is currently a PhD candidate at the Bar-Ilan University focusing on the evaluation of early-stage startup teams.
