Synopsis
Notes, paper summaries, ideas, and to-do lists tend to accumulate across files and folders in ways that are hard to search and even harder to connect. A dedicated note-taking system can change that. This hands-on session introduces Obsidian, free software that runs on every operating system. It covers the core skills to get started with digital note-taking: writing and formatting notes, linking and searching them, sketching ideas visually with Canvas, and keeping a daily note to plan and track your work. You will leave with a working notebook you can use right away.

- Understand what makes notes findable and useful over time.
- Create, format, link, and search notes in Obsidian.
