The fourth Azrieli Graduate Studies Fellows Forum included presentations by six incoming Fellows whose research captivated the audience, and stirred many questions. The Forum’s steering committee thought of a super-creative way to introduce each speaker, providing us with a special (visual!) glimpse into their hobbies. After presentations and lunch, Fellows divided into four roundtables, according to their research field:
- Education and Social Science Fellows worked on leveraging networking to advance their career.
- Humanities Fellows discussed new models for organizing and funding in their departments, with Prof. Daniela Dueck, Dean of Humanities at Bar-Ilan University.
- Exact Sciences Fellows searched for common ground in their research as a means of connecting and assisting each other with research-related predicaments.
- Life Sciences Fellows discussed the skills needed and preparation required for pursuing alternative career paths. Two Azrieli Alums joined this roundtable to share their experience.
This was the final forum of the Graduate Studies track for the 2022-2023 academic year. Well done to all our Fellows, we are proud of you!
Looking forward to the Azrieli End of Year celebration!
