Synopsis

This workshop is designed to demystify the grant writing process and equip you with the tools necessary to craft persuasive proposals that resonate with funders (ISF, DFG, BSF, ERC, Ministries). Whether you are seeking funding for your dissertation research or planning future projects, this workshop will provide comprehensive insights into the strategies that lead to successful grant applications.

Outcomes

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the types of funding opportunities available for Israeli scholars and how to identify those that align with your research goals.
  • Learn to construct persuasive and well-structured proposals that effectively communicate the significance and impact of your research.

About the Instructor

Professor Miri Yemini is a full Professor of Education in the Faculty of Education for Science and Technology at Technion there she leads a research group focusing on global dimensions of education. The research group conducts multidisciplinary studies aimed at understanding policy-making processes in the field of education, examining the practices of various stakeholders in educational systems worldwide, and proposing approaches to enhance educational practices within and beyond schools. Between the years 2023 and 2028, Professor Yemini is leading a large international research funded by the European Research Council, with the goal of studying youth activism in diverse contexts, including climate crisis and human rights. Research within the group belongs to the fields of comparative education and sociology of education. Researchers in the group come from different countries, diverse disciplinary backgrounds, and various fields of interest.
