In mid-February, we held a first-of-its-kind Zoom event for our Humanities Fellows and Alums, designed to cultivate this special community and provide its members with practical tips to achieve goals in publishing a monograph; finding a postdoc, or pursuing a non-academic career.
The evening included a lot of networking (yes! On Zoom) through four cycles of random breakout rooms; and the exchange of best practices in three intimate breakout rooms – each dedicated to a different issue concerning Humanities Fellows and Alums.
A big thanks to participants and speakers – who refused to miss the event, even when ill with COVID.
