Synopsis
This workshop is focused on the practical implementation of a work plan and the effective management of resources and projects. Participants will learn how to translate goals into actionable steps, develop a work plan, define success metrics, manage budgets, and handle project risks. The session combines theory with hands-on exercises, allowing participants to practice building work plans, estimating budgets, and applying project management methods such as Critical Path. Throughout the lesson, there is an emphasis on discussion, reflection, and interaction, so participants can connect the concepts to their own professional or personal projects and gain confidence in planning and executing initiatives successfully.

About the Instructor
Dr. Yael Maizels currently heads the Academic Department at HUJI-ASPER Innovate and is excited to provide tools for students at all stages to succeed in their degree and the day after. She is also a founder of a group of over 800 PhDs who are looking to transition from academia to new industries. She consults for a wide variety of start-ups in the field of health and supports numerous medical writing projects.
