The Annual Azrieli Alumni Reunion, held on March 10, 2025 was a resounding success, bringing together alumni from across generations, disciplines, and fellowship tracks for an evening of connection, inspiration, entertainment, and celebration.
The reunion took place at East, a stunning venue in the heart of Tel Aviv that blends stylish indoor spaces with lush greenery. After some mingling over wine and starters, the program started with an interactive and amusing lecture by Prof. Yossi Yassour titled “Decisions: Logic, Emotions, and Uncertainties.” Yassour is a specialist in Decision Theory and Management who has authored several books on decision-making.
During his lecture, Yassour shared fascinating examples of how we often rely on our emotional brain rather than our rational one when making decisions, highlighting the many factors that subconsciously influence our choices. It was very eye-opening, and it is clear that Yossi’s students and friends often come to him for help making decisions and influencing others!
The lecture was followed by a high-energy escape room map game, led by Quala, a company specializing in creating interactive and engaging team-building activities. The game was both fun and challenging, bringing alumni together in a spirited and interactive way.
The evening concluded with a delightful buffet dinner, fostering genuine connections and engaging conversations that continued long into the night, touching on topics from science and technology to family and personal milestones.
The annual reunion is a cornerstone event of the Fellows Program, reaffirming the strong bonds and lasting impact of the Azrieli fellowship. As alumni continue to grow and shape the world, gatherings like these serve as a reminder of the supportive and inspiring community they will always be a part of.
