Autrement dit, la Fondation \u00e9tait en qu\u00eate de d\u00e9couvertes qui pourraient mener \u00e0 des interventions qui s\u2019attaquent aux caract\u00e9ristiques mol\u00e9culaires fondamentales qui sous-tendent les troubles du d\u00e9veloppement neurologique. Mais d&#8217;abord, l&#8217;ADN g\u00e9nomique doit \u00eatre converti en une mol\u00e9cule d&#8217;ARN interm\u00e9diaire, qui doit \u00e0 son tour subir de nombreuses modifications avant de pouvoir \u00eatre traduite en prot\u00e9ine. L&#8217;un des aspects les plus importants du traitement de l&#8217;ARN est l&#8217;\u00e9pissage, qui consiste \u00e0 retirer de longs segments d&#8217;ARN pour produire une version beaucoup plus compacte &#8211; l&#8217;ARN messager (ARNm). L&#8217;\u00e9pissage alternatif de ces r\u00e9gions permet de cr\u00e9er un grand nombre d&#8217;ARNm et de prot\u00e9ines diff\u00e9rents. On pense que ce processus est particuli\u00e8rement important dans le d\u00e9veloppement normal du cerveau. Cette recherche explorera comment les diff\u00e9rences d&#8217;\u00e9pissage dans les g\u00e8nes li\u00e9s aux troubles du neurod\u00e9veloppement affectent le d\u00e9veloppement du autistique.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong> L&#8217;\u00e9quipe du Dr Sonenberg \u00e9tudiera les changements mol\u00e9culaires, m\u00e9di\u00e9s par le m\u00e9canisme de synth\u00e8se des prot\u00e9ines cellulaires, qui modulent la force des synapses (c&#8217;est-\u00e0-dire les jonctions de communication entre les neurones), dans la sant\u00e9 et dans les troubles du neurod\u00e9veloppement. Les m\u00e9canismes qui contr\u00f4lent la synth\u00e8se des prot\u00e9ines sont d\u00e9r\u00e9gl\u00e9s dans le cerveau de mod\u00e8les murins de troubles du neurod\u00e9veloppement et peuvent \u00eatre cibl\u00e9s pour rem\u00e9dier \u00e0 ces d\u00e9ficits. Cette recherche devrait permettre de mieux comprendre les m\u00e9canismes par lesquels les neurones transmettent des signaux dans la sant\u00e9 et la maladie.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div
