Academic Research for a Digital Clip: Production Workshop
Over the course of several meetings, the participants will create a professional clip for social media or international conferences about their research. In the first workshop, we will learn how to write a script, and acquire tools to produce clips and to make science accessible. We then hold individual meetings with a writer/director to edit the script and prepare for shooting. We will then hold a remote group meeting to go over the principles of how to stand in front of a camera.
Following the workshops, we will have a day in the studio. After the filming, we will have an editing session after which each participant will be given a clip about their research in the Azrieli template for social media use. Participation in the workshop will also help students who are teaching remotely.
