Appearance, Media and Transformation: The Amanda Method
The modern job market poses many challenges. Often we find ourselves in a crucial moment, the moment of truth! This might be an important negotiation or a sales meeting, managing a team staff meeting, launching a new product or a presentation, a job interview or even appearing in front of an audience. In such moments, we are required to leave our comfort zone and our daily routine, and to put on a show. We must present the right face for the right moment. In order to do so, we have to call upon characteristics and qualities which might be uncomfortable for us or are unfamiliar from our daily lives. It is therefore not surprising that after these experiences, we have a feeling that “I was not myself” or “I was not good enough”. During the workshop, I will introduce methods, models and tools from the stage and adapt them so that you can achieve your goals in your career and in life in general!
The workshop will give participants tools which will help them get through crucial moments in which they have to introduce themselves and their research successfully: How do you “put on a show”? How do you get over nervousness, confusion and embarrassment? How do you get rid of stress and distress? How do you arouse interest and how do you overcome stage fright? How do you produce the “right face for the right moment”?
