The Holocaust Survivor Memoirs Program is committed to developing resources related to the Azrieli Series memoirs that promote and deepen readers' understanding of the Holocaust. Among these will be teacher-resource guides, book club and reading group guides, maps and a glossary of frequently used terms.
In the spring of 2010, the program launched the first teacher-resource guide - an overview that offers a general approach to using the Azrieli Series memoirs, and Holocaust memoirs in general, in the classroom. This overview guide can be used for any of the memoirs in Series 1 and Series 2 and contain creative and practical suggestions for activities that will be helpful for teachers.
